How to play Tenniscomp
The first step is to activate your account and register to play in a Tenniscomp by paying the annual subscription fee. Entry costs $50 and last for one year.
Within 24 hours an admin will add you to the Tenniscomp table at a suitable entry position based on your ability. You can then start to play by challenging players.
Tenniscomp is a singles challenger ladder, matches are best of 3 sets, you move up the table by challenging and winning matches. If you lose, your opponent takes your spot and you move down one place.
To book a match, challenge players on the table up to 3 spots above you. Click on the ‘Challenge Player’ button to send them a message.
A match request can be accepted, or declined;
Accepted match: Agree a time and place to play your match with your opponent, and when finished enter the result on the website.
Declined match: If your opponent is unable to play for any reasons you can claim victory by entering a walkover.
No response: If you don't get a response from your opponent after a week claim victory with a walkover.
Players share any courts fees 50:50.
Agree to play at a time and place both players are happy with. We strongly recommend playing at courts you’re familiar with, especially if you have not met your opponent before.
After you have played a match either player can enter the result on the website. Even if a match was declined, or you didn’t hear back from your opponent you still need to enter a result.
You need to enter a result before challenging new players.
